“Mummy, are we going to the Olympics?” Lilly asked her mummy Kate the Duchess of Cambridge.

“We are darling, are you ready to go?” Kate asked Lilly as she was putting her shoes on for her.

“Mummy, I forgot my badge to put around my neck.” Lilly gasped once Kate was done putting on her shoes she ran up the stairs to fetch her special badge.

“Don’t run in the house!” Kate shouted after her.

“Guess, who?” A voice said as the person put their hands over Kate’s eyes.

“Oh, I have no idea? Is it Harry?” Kate asked as she really knew who it really was.

“Hilarious Catherine.” William said as he kissed her on the lips after he spinned her around.

“I knew it was you all along I just wanted to play along with you.” She said as she heard footsteps coming from the stairs. “Lily has gone to get her special badge she didn’t want to leave it behind.” She told her husband.

“Mummy, daddy I am ready to go I got my badge.”

“Hurry up otherwise we are going to be late.” William said.

“Your royal highnesses, your car is here to take you to the Olympic Stadium.” Michael announced who was one of the senior butlers of Kensington Palace.

“Thank you, Michael we are coming we are just waiting for one excited little girl.”

“I’M HERE LETS GO!” The little girl said excitedly.

William, Kate and Lilly then made their way to their car as their chauffer was waiting for them. Once they were in the car Lilly tried to buckle her seat belt in but she was struggling.

“Here darling, let me help you.” Kate said to her daughter.

About an hour later they had arrived at the stadium, the three royals got out the car and was greeted by Lord Coe and was taken to their places. Kate took Lily’s hand as she was beginning to get clingy as they made their way into the stadium.

“Please stand up and welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Her Royal Highness Lily Princess of Cambridge.” The announcer said into the microphone for the public to hear that they were making their way to their seats in the Royal box.

Lily’s POV

Mummy, daddy and I just arrived to our seats there were thousands of people taking photos of us as we came in. I held onto mummy’s hand as I was a little scared, I picked up my arms for her to pick me up and she did she kissed the side of my head and I laughed cause it tickled. Mummy couldn’t hold me properly as she has a baby in her tummy, she told me she was 2 months along but not very big but struggling to hold me so she passed me on to daddy I didn’t mind.

“I can’t hold you Lilly you’re getting too heavy for me darling.”

“Daddy hold me, please.” I asked as I tried to climb onto his lap and he grabbed and sat me down on his right knee. “Come on then, shall we call Louise and say hello?”

“Okay.” I said sucking my thumb.

“Louise, someone here wants to say hello.” Daddy called her as she was right in front of me.

“Hi Lilly, do you want to sit next to me?” She asked me as I nodded. “Daddy I’m going to sit next to Louise.” I told him as I got down from his knee.

“Hang on a minute, Lils, One, two and three. There we go mummy and I are right behind you if you want something okay?”  Daddy said as I nodded not really taking any interest on what he is saying.

“Okay” I said as I continued to suck my thumb, I looked around the arena and people where still taking photos of us, I looked at Louise who was reading a programme. I snatched it away from her and read it. “HEY I was reading that!” She said as she snatched it back to. “But I want to read it.”

“You can’t because it’s mine.” She said as I folded my arms and pouted, I looked at my dad and he gave me a look. “Lily you can’t take away Louise’s programme, what do you want to say to her?” Daddy said to me. “I’m sorry Louise.”

William settled the argument between the two cousins and as then the lights turned down very low as it was starting, the athletes got into their positions as the first race was about to commence, it was the UK, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, New Zealand and Brazil William held Kate’s hand as she was drinking her water with her other.

Kate’s POV

“What happened?” I asked Wills as he was keeping a very close eye on Lily. “She snatched away Louise’s programme and I gave her the look and then she noticed, so I told her to give it back and apologize to her. “Oh.” I just said as I put my hand on my bump as I can feel the baby moving a little.

Meanwhile later on I felt a bit sick, so I drank more water. I felt a little dehydrated so I brought more water from the shop that they had in the VIP suite where we were all sitting. “You feeling okay?” William asked me as I took a deep breath to try and ignore the nausea. “Yeah, I’m fine just feeling a little nausea I’m sure it’s nothing.” I said as I gave him a smile of reassurance and he gave me a smile back kissing me on the cheek.

“Mummy, I want to sit on your lap please.” Lily said as she was trying to climb over the seat which was next to Louise and Anne, Anne was helping her little great-niece climb over so William caught her and gave her a kiss on the cheek as well,  then passed her to me. “Careful of my tummy darling.” I said to her as she might hurt something that she might not know about.

After we came home at 10:30 as Lily was asleep so William took her to bed and I got my PJs on and went to bed before Wills came in I was asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.

We were all exhausted.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge play a reaction game during the the launch of the Football Asociation’s National Football Centre at St. George Park, october 09, 2012.

William won the game 31 points to 28, but his wife proved to be as good as him.

Shaking hands at the end, her hands on his arm, umm, more than I can handle.

Very well played Mr. and Mrs. Wales.

(X)

Love their handshake at the end!
